OLYMPUS OM-10
Olympus OM-10 35mm Manual Focus Film Camera
In January 2017 I bought a second-hand Olympus OM10 35mm film camera, in readiness for a film photography course I was planning to take at the Polytechnic in Whangarei (Northtec). As I discovered, when I began using the camera, it had a faulty light meter and so a lot of my photos were less than optimal. I used the Olympus through the first term of the course which was entitled "Film: in black and white". By the end of the 9 weeks, my results were in part acceptable to me, otherwise not. The big surprise had been in finding out how much I enjoyed using the film camera so, in the hope of better photographic outcomes, I upgraded to a Nikon F65 35mm film camera (known as the N65 in the USA). The results of using the Nikon can be seen in the other albums on this website.
Meanwhile, here are some of the better shots that I took with the Olympus.
